He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Papke and Dolores Papke (Thordson); his sister Linda Kampmeier; and his nephew Matthew Millerbrand. He is survived by: his siblings, Mark Papke-Larson (Linnea) of Duluth, Dave Papke of Litchfield, Jim Papke (Joann) of Clearbrook and Mary Holman (Dan) of Blackduck; his brother-in-law Tim Kampmeier of Chokio; and his nieces and nephews, Emily Papke-Larson (Emily Powers) of Bemidji, Andrew Papke-Larson (Lauren) of Duluth, Alicia Willcox (Kevin) of Durham England, Melissa Hoffman of Litchfield, Anna Lish (Mike) of Litchfield, Nelson Papke (Umbriel Post) of Arnhem, Eliza (Jimmie Busch) of Cascade, MT, Hannah Holman (Peter Heeringa) of Bloomington, Davad Holman, Jordan Kampmeier (Hilary) of Chokio, Reed Kampmeier (Jenna) of Chokio and Mac Kampmeier (Sydney) of Chokio.
Donations may be made to the Stevens County DAC (Developmental Achievement Center) which provided such a wonderful working and social environment throughout most of John's life.
