She is survived by: her son Robin Mertes (Joan); her daughter-in-law Lynn Mertes; her grandchildren, David Mertes (Donna), Daniel Mertes (Kim), Luke Mertes (Liesel), Melanie Henrickson (Daniel), Katie Hipsher (Willie) and Emily Storbeck (Derek); her great grandchildren, Alec, Nathaniel, Joseph, Nolan, Ada June, Magnus, Jemima, Josie, Moses, Judah, Joshua, Bree, Bjorn and Baby Hipsher; and her sister Ruth Hallfrisch. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
