It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Hamilton of Duluth, Minnesota, born in Pine River, Minnesota, who passed away on November 24, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fay Hamilton and Lorna Hamilton. She is survived by: her close friend Dave Gongwer; her siblings, Sharon Attoe (Milt), Lila Burlingame (Rick), Steve Hamilton (Diane), Mark Hamilton (Angie) and Shelly Bever; her stepchildren, Brenda Johnson (Mike) and Harry Johnson; her granddaughters, Anna Francisco (Luke) and Olivia Downey (Jesse); and her great grandchildren, Otto, Huxon, Milo, Beau, Arlo and Summer. She is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews; 20 great nieces and nephews; and one great-great niece and one great-great nephew.
