She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Forbort and Marion Forbort (Williams); her parents-in-law, Ralph Sr. and Ione Brown (Nelson); and her brothers-in-law, Ralph Brown Jr., Elwood Erickson and John Olson.

She is survived by: her husband Ray Brown; her children, Charley Brown (Sally) and Kathryn Brown; her siblings, Myrna Lehigh (Jack), Peter Forbort (Joyce), Cynthia Abernethy (Ronald) and Paul Forbort; her sisters-in-law, Arlene Erickson and Lois Olson; and her grandchildren, David James Brown, Wayne Hidy (Maddy), Holly Majewski (Adam) and Jesse Schinderle (Riley). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
