With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine Arlene McDonnell of Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on July 5, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Selma Hansten (Broman) and William Hansten (Bill); her husband Terrence J. McDonnell Sr.; her son Terrence J. McDonnell Jr.; her sister Betty Abrahamson (Elroy); and her son-in-law Ronald Guimont.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon McDonnell-Guimont; her granddaughter Elise Guimont-Blackburn (Justin); and her great grandchildren, Reagan and Selma Blackburn.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sunrise Funeral Home and Cremation Services & Cemetery (4798 Miller Trunk Hwy, Hermantown, MN 55811). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
