She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gates and Jean Gates. She is survived by: her spouse Katherine Speare; her daughters, Kjirsten Mickesh (Jim) and Kylie Komaridis; her grandchildren, Taylor, Jeremy, Sophia and Joe; her sister Georjean Bailey; her nephew Mark Bailey (Therese); and her niece Barb Hoffman.
