He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Nelson; and his niece Kacey Davey (Calvin "Jay" Crotteau). He is survived by: his mother Gladys Nelson (Konsti); his sisters, Gail Ulvi (Earl) and Gina Seguin (Lee); his siblings' children, Darrell Davey (Emily), Douglas Seguin (Cora) and Hailey Graves (Adam); his former wife Rhonda Johnson; his stepsons, Jacob Johnson (Katie) and Dakota Johnson (Amber); and his stepgranddaughters, Jessica Pribbenow and Andrea Motz.
