He was predeceased by: his parents, George Fossum and Hazel Fossum (Wedger); his stepfather Ray Olson; his sister LaVonne Enerson; and his parents-in-law, Louis and Marcella Violette.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Violette; his siblings, Gary Fossum (Diane) and Donna (Mike Drangstveit) of Goodridge; and his siblings-in-law, Lowell Enerson (Cathy) of River Falls, WI, Linda Vettleson (Louie), Sue Carriere (Bob) of Oklee, Marlene Slater (Bill) of Motley and Rosemary Sather (Tommy) of Dilworth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
