With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Laurel F Pagel (Duluth, Minnesota), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Laurel left this world on September 25, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Martin Ziegler and Amy Lucile Ziegler (Holmes); and her siblings, Helen, Lucile, June and Darryl.
She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Mark Pagel (Amy) of Northfield, MN and Karen Pagel Guerndt (Rick) of Duluth, MN; her grandchildren, Emerson, Alexander, Audrey Pagel and Ellen Guerndt; and her brother Hart Ziegler (Judy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and a wide circle of extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Park Hill Cemetery (2500 Vermilion Rd, Duluth, MN 55803). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
