He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence F. McGahey Sr. and Catherine N. McGahey. He is survived by: his brothers, Bob (Cindy) of Stuart's Draft, VA. and Jim (Debbie) of Williamston, NC; and his siblings' children, Patrick, Alex and Katie.
