Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Lerna for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parent Russell Sr. Jones; and her parent-in-law Francis Jones. She is survived by: her husband Russell D. Jones, Jr.; her sons, Michael Jones (Leah) and Kevin Jones (Samantha); and her grandchildren, Stella and Hudson Jones.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church (4810 S Bear Paw Rd, Iron River, WI 54847). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery (4777 US-53, Saginaw, MN 55779).
