It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lone J. Cooke (Duluth, Minnesota), born in Plummer, Minnesota, who passed away on January 9, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brother Gary Sironen; and her great grandchild Gracie. She is survived by: her husband David Cooke; her children, LuAnn Thiry (Roger), Sheri Gray (Tom) and David Cooke (Brenda); her grandson Aaron Gray (Rachael); her great grandchildren, Caleb, Chloe, Austin and Harper; her brother Larry Sironen (Sandy); and her sister-in-law Mary Ann "Skipper" Sironen.

Memorials may be made to W.E.L.C.A. of French River Lutheran Church or the Normanna Garden Club.

“I am sorry to hear that Lone has passed. She was a wonderful person and an incredible gardener. During my time with the garden flower society she rarely missed a meeting or event. Always ready for the meeting and ready to offer her insight. Her advice and thoughts were valued .and considered at every meeting. Several years ago Lone helped make an instructional video on how to prepare and show flowers for our yearly flower show. She was a natural and did a tremendous job. She will be missed!”
