Luanne Wachula Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Luanne Wachula of Duluth, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Halonen and Barbara Halonen (David); her daughter Lynn Rae Rochon; and her brother Ted Halonen. She is survived by: her husband Michael Wachula; her children, Jeanine Edstrom (Brent) and Derek Anderson; the father of her children Steven Anderson; her siblings, Dixie Lee Brill, Terri Biscay, Greg Halonen (Cindie) and Marty Halonen; and her son-in-law Scott Rochon. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home (1209 E 5th St, Superior, WI 54880). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
