We announce the death of Margaret May Schultz of Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on May 23, 2026, at the age of 98. Margaret will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Hodgson and Edith Hodgson; her husband Bud; her daughter Susan Schultz; her siblings, Richard P. Hodgson and Frances Hadley; and her grandson Mark McDermott.

She is survived by: her daughter Paula Schultz (Dennis McDermott); her sons-in-law, Dennis McDermott, Patrick Dillon and Lance Maloney; her grandson Michael McDermott (Britton); and her great grandchildren, William and Abigail McDermott.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a charity of one's choice.
