With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Lasky (Duluth, Minnesota), born in Virginia, Minnesota, who passed away on November 28, 2019 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Lasky and Mary Lasky (Martinich); and her siblings, Jim, Joe Lasky and Judy Richardson.

She is survived by: her pet Nutmeg; her son Larry "Lars" Lasky (Beth) of Duluth; and her grandchildren, Majestic Lasky of Duluth, Elise Lund of Esko, Bernie and Carl Lundberg.

“I am very sorry for your loss of Marie. She is my first cousin. My mother is Frances (Martinich) Matko. I am Suzanne (Matko) Cimperman. I have corresponded with Marie and talked to her by phone for quite a few years. She wrote me many nice letters. I have not heard from her in over a year and I have worried about her and wondered what could have gone wrong. I am so sorry to know she has passed. I live in Britt Mn. Just 7 miles North of Virginia. May God bless you at this difficult time...wish I”
