He is survived by: his mother Donna Brostrom; his wife Neema Mlay; his children, Malikia and Elijah; his siblings, Gina DeVaney and Brian Brostrom (Wendy); his nieces and nephews, Leif, Ian, Michaela DeVaney and Cristina Brostrom; his great-niece Eireen DeVaney; his mother-in-law Salome Daniel Christopher Mlay; his siblings-in-law, Epafra (Peter), Dismas, Dustin Mlay and Devotha Nyello; his nieces and nephews, Eva, Hilary, Harrison, Bill, Beaty, Ben, Irene, Mamy and Agripina; and his close friends, Lida Msaki, Cyprian, Onesmo Mallya and Paul Kisuda.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund for Mark's children has been established at Proctor Federal Credit Union.
