He was predeceased by: his father James Fightlin; his wife Marianne; and his grandchildren, Noah Miller (Addie Miller), Nathan Miller, Gianna Miller, Isabella Brower and Lucia Brower.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Matthew; his daughters, Kristen T. Miller (Keith Miller) and Miriam L. Brower (Matthew Brower); and his sister Nancy Fightlin (Jerry Jacques).
