He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Torkelson and Margaret Torkelson (Nunn); his father-in-law Thomas Wermerskirchen; his sister Elizabeth Colburn; his grandparents, Lawrence, Ellen Torkelson, Alfred and Lillian Nunn; his aunts, Nancy Jones and Dora Kelley; and his uncle David Torkelson.
He is survived by: his wife Tracie Wermerskirchen of Duluth; his mother-in-law Faye Wermerskirchen of Park Rapids; his siblings-in-law, Scott Wermerskirchen (Wendy) of Breckenridge, MN, Steve Wermerskirchen (Kim) of Norwalk, IA, Michael Colburn (Colby) of Park Rapids and Tammy Hoffman (Ron) of Cambridge, MN; his aunts, Carol Collins (Louie) of Bemidji, MN, Sharon Buchanan of Park Rapids, Sheila Rognstad (Chuck) of Park Rapids and Vivian Torkelson of Park Rapids; and his uncle Dave Nunn (Carol) of Menahga, MN. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, other aunts and uncles, and many special friends.
