We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2025, Mildred Melvina Kallio of Duluth, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Mildred Melvina's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Mildred Melvina's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Moore and Mildred Moore; her husband Arvo Kallio; and her children, Ivar and Carrie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Mesedahl (David) and Janet Husby (Donald); and her grandson Joffet Husby. She is also survived by two sisters and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Glen Avon Presbyterian Church (2105 Woodland Ave, Duluth, MN 55803). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Glen Avon Presbyterian Church of Duluth, MN, the Salvation Army, or a charity of the donor's choice would be gratefully received.
