It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard James Rockensock (Duluth, Minnesota), who passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Sharon Rockensock; his grandparents, Don, Lucille Goodwin and Leona Rockensock; his father-in-law Robert Anderson; his brother-in-law Shawn Anderson; and his niece MaeLiana Timmer.
He is survived by: his son Frank Rockensock (Benita Gusaas-Goodwin); his wife Violet Rockensock; his children, Anthony Rockensock, Tracy Rockensock (Scott) and Selena Rockensock (Marcelo); his mother-in-law Peggy Anderson; his siblings-in-law, Christina LaQuier (Mike) and Brandon Anderson (Amanda); and his nieces and nephews, Drew Williams, Kashmiere Williams, Timothy Whitefeather, Nina Porter, Bella Porter, Alonzo Timmer and Marcelo Timmer Jr.. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Dougherty Funeral Home (600 E 2nd St, Duluth, MN 55805). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
