He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Szamatula and Violet Szamatula. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Szamatula; his daughter Jamie Szamatula of Duluth; and his siblings, Alfred Szamatula of Duluth and Paulie Laughlin (Mark). He is also survived by several cousins and friends.
