He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Josephine; his wife Phyllis DeSmedt; his siblings, Chet, Joesph (Moniak), Walt, Eugene, Gerald (Butch), Sophie, Irene, Lorraine, Joanne, Patricia and Dianne; his in-laws, Rose and Maurice DeSmedt; his brother-in-law Donald; his son-in-law Ronald Forester (John Gulland); and his grandson-in-law Dan Lane.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Gulland (John), Sandy Forester, Gary (Brenda) and Greg; his grandchildren, Christa Lane, Eric Gulland, Kari Perry and Kenny Quade; his great grandchildren, Jewlliana Hartel, Lucy, Silvie Lane and Mecca Quade; his great great grandchild Meliah Mae Hartel; his sisters, Lucille Hoppe and Emeline Brock (Babe); and his brother-in-law Harry Brock. He is also survived by 195 nieces, nephews, their spouses and their children.
