He is survived by: his wife Darlene Oachs (Soderquist); his sons, Dan Schafer (Kathy) and Tom Schafer; his son-in-law Richard McCorison; his stepson Steven Oachs; his grandchildren, Hannah (Seth), Sarah, Heather, Brandi, Shayne, Anthony, Cassandra, Cosette, Rick Jr., Ryan, Amber and Loren; and his stepgrandchildren, Eric, Adriane and Alex. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
