He was predeceased by : his parents, John Ek and Florence Ek; and his wife Claudia Ek (Anderson). He is survived by : his children, Rob (Robin) of Bemidji, MN, Reina Orebaugh (Bill) of Bellevue, NE and Tim (Amy Fullerton) of Duluth, MN; and his grandchildren, Tyler and Sarah of Bemidji, MN. He is also survived by his six siblings and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
