With solemn reverence, we commemorate Ronald A. MacMillan of Duluth, Minnesota, whose life came to an end on May 16, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude MacMillan (Holt) and Charles MacMillan; his daughter Mary Peterson; his siblings, Howard, Bruce MacMillan, Marjorie Chaffey (Ben) and Genevieve Middag (Gordon); his sister-in-law Pat Shearer; and his in-laws, Marion and John Barnish.
He is survived by: his wife Diane MacMillan; his sons, Mike MacMillan (Susie) and Tim MacMillan (Kristi); his grandchildren, Jackie MacMillan (Becky Thelen), Michael MacMillan (Julie Chang), Madeline Peterson, Christian MacMillan and Katherine MacMillan; his great grandchild MacMillan-Chang; and his sister-in-law Jeanne Rep (Rick). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
If desired, memorials may be made in Ron's name to Duluth Amateur Hockey Association - Piedmont Youth Hockey c/o Downs Life Celebration Center, to break down financial barriers of participation.
