He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Johnson and Elaine Johnson; his siblings, Sally Suomela and Arthur; and his son Matthew.

He is survived by : his wife Sandy Oraskovich; his daughter Terese Dowling; his grandchildren, Bridget and Haleigh; his sister Arlene Williams and half-sister Claudia Maciejeski. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
