With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra J. Watters of Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on December 25, 2022 at the age of 74. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Franckowiak and Audrey Franckowiak; and her siblings-in-law, LaVerne, Ruby Watters and Bill Walsh.
She is survived by: her significant other Pat Watters; her daughters, Amy Watters and Jennifer Watters; her grandchildren, Juniper and Finn Hansen; and her sisters, Mary Jo Lapcinski (Jerry) and Sharon Walsh. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many cousins and friends.
A two-time cancer survivor, Sandy was adamant that she would not die of cancer, and she was right (as she usually was) – ultimately her body was unable to beat Covid-19.
