He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Bernard and Charlotte Bernard. He is survived by: his stepmother LaVonne Bernard; his wife Sue Herrington; his daughters, Kris and Cyndi; and his sister Char Malner. He is also survived by 3 granddaughters, 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lakeside Presbyterian Church (4430 McCulloch St, Duluth, MN 55804). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
