He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Johnson and Edna Johnson; and his siblings, Dennis, Duwayne and Diane.
He is survived by: his children, Bryan (Karin), Benjamin (Meghan), Brandon (Natalie) and Elizabeth; his grandchildren, Weston, Griffin, Evelyn, Grady, Maclain, Brooks and Lillian; his wife Arlene Jarvis; and his siblings, Leroy and Candice.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lakeview Covenant Church (1001 Jean Duluth Rd, Duluth, MN 55804). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Lakeview Covenant Church (lakeviewcovenant.org) or Semper Fi & America's Fund (thefund.org) in his honor.
