With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Vernon Joseph Gimpel (Duluth, Minnesota), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Vernon left this world on July 8, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gimpel and Mary Gimpel; and his siblings, Cele Allen, Dick, Donald and Bob.
He is survived by: his sisters, Patricia Haagenson and Mary Alice Udovich; and also, Minty Anderson, Aubrie, Steven, Brecken and David "Lucky". He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, Duluth, MN 55806).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Duluth Harbormasters or the Honor Guard, in honor of Chubber's life and legacy.
