He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Solon and Demitra Solon (Stasinopoulos); and his close friend Scott Vesterstein. He is survived by: his children, Jerry Solon and Sara Carr (Jimson); his nephew Jon Solon; his nieces, Dina Webb, Vicki Smoyer, Kristina Solon-Boe and Tracy Korhonen; and his siblings, Louis, Sam, Chris and Bessie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to 12 Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church are preferred.
