He was predeceased by: his parents, Hannah Peterson and Carl Peterson; his wife Betty Heaslip Peterson; and his siblings, Herbert Peterson and Irene Peterson.
He is survived by: his son Tim Peterson; his granddaughter Corey (Phillip Esterly); his great grandchild Ava Esterly; his grandson David Carlson (Tawney); his great grandchild Emariah; his daughter Diane Demeria McKendree (Ron); and his grandchildren, Jacey Yeager, Jennifer White and Jody Peterson. He is also survived by her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Blackwoods Proctor (195 US-2, Proctor, MN 55810).
