William George Merrick Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on January 26, 2026, at the age of 93, William George Merrick of Duluth, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred (Jessie Merrick) and Manitoba; his wife Joyce Farmer; and his siblings, John and Ruth Pollard.

He is survived by: his sons, Glenn (Lori Williams) and Kevin Merrick; his grandchildren, Kyle Merrick (Alaina), Annika Ryden (Niels) and Jordyn Olson-Merrick (Anton Anderson); his great grandchildren, Owen, Lucy and Bjorn; and his brother-in-law Rich Allden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
