He was predeceased by: his wife Cheryl; and his parents, William and Rose. He is survived by: his siblings, Craig (Cheri) and Cathy (Rob); and his brothers-in-law, Charles (Heike) and David. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred in his name to the Animal Humane Society.
