He was predeceased by: his mother Esther Minter; his brother Leslie Minter; and his sister-in-law Lorainne Minter. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Minter; his children, Sherri Latif (Alexander Latif), Joseph Minter and Tony Minter (Stephanie Minter); his grandchildren, Nourah Latif Calabrese (Matt Calabrese), Amani Latif, Ramzy Latif, Cole Minter and Caitlin Minter; his sibling's children, Leslie Minter and Amy Kemp; Kevin Anderson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Paul's Episcopal Church (1710 E Superior St, Duluth, MN 55812). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
