With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Robert Lyon of Dunnell, Minnesota, who passed away on September 22, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Robert (Bob) and Betty Jane Lyon (Lund); his wife Carol Lyon of Dunnell, Minnesota; his children, Michael Lyon (Nicole) of Sherburn, MN, Mark Lyon (Carolyn Jacobson) of Sherburn, MN, Vicki Wodtke (Michael) of Estherville and Linda Prentice (Patrick) of Dolliver, Iowa; his grandchildren, Ashley, Katelyn, Carter Lyon, Collin, Cael Wodtke, Hunter Prentice, Jacob Howard, Maddison and Marcus Lyon; his sister Janeen Boggess (Steve) of Carver, Minnesota; his mother-in-law Ruby Kramer of Sioux Falls; his siblings-in-law, Larry Kramer (Sharon) of Hartford, Lonnie Kramer (Cathy) of Humboldt and Shirley Hanson (Jim) of Humboldt; his grandparents, Axel, Mable Lyon, Edward and Edith Lund; and his father-in-law John Kramer (Phil). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

David's family prefers memorials to be given in his memory to: The Dunnell Fire Department and or Avera Home Hospice in Worthington, Minnesota.
