Cheryl touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her former husband Greg Ziemkowski; her parents, Bill Yohn and Ginny Houg (Yohn); her stepfather Leon Houg; her brother Dan Yohn; and her brother-in-law Ron Ziemkowski.
She is survived by: her husband Mike LaGuire; her children, Deb Heinecke (Darrell), Deanna Brake (Tim) and Scott Ziemkowski (Judy); her grandchildren, Jill Heinecke (Frank Roberts), Natasha Koenen (Ethan), Michele Heinecke (Matthew Muncy), Shelby Richard-Hoffman (Nick), Addie Ziemkowski (Kevin Miller), Emily Ziemkowski (Brandon Gilman), Cassidy Brake (Ryan Gaitley), Amanda Ziemkowski, Kaylee Brake (Noah Shun) and John Ziemkowski; her great grandchildren, Lily, Charlie and Melina; her stepchildren, Cheryl Johnson (Dwayne), Michael (Vince Galli) and Susan Shambre (Jeff); her siblings, Bonnie Reeves (Paul Pfromer), Garry Yohn (Diane), Joe Yohn (Kim), Jeff Yohn (Kris), Don Sullivan (Anne), Greg Yohn (Laurie) and Kevin Yohn; her siblings-in-law, Lynn Ziemkowski (Terry) and Brad Ziemkowski (Karen); and also, Matthew Johnson (Alyssa), Timothy Johnson (Mady), Lindsey Shambre, Lauren Shambre, Brody, Brooks, Jyntri and Dallas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the White Funeral Home - Apple Valley (14560 Pennock Ave, Apple Valley, MN 55124). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM and from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St Thomas Becket Catholic Church (4455 S Robert Trail, Eagan, MN 55123). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church Cemetery (29482 243rd St, Harding, MN 56364).
