She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Kohlmeyer and Cora Kohlmeyer (Biel); her husband Claire Vomhof of John's Lutheran Church; her children, Deb Brown, Paul Vomhof and Lynn Vomhof; her siblings, Helen Keyes (Don), Dorothy Meyer (Leonard), Ruth Grabau (Reuben) and Walter Kohlmeyer (Eunice); and her siblings-in-law, Eugene Vomhof, Arnie Graham and Phyllis Vomhof.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Vomhof (Deb) of Chatfield, Dawn Halvorsen (Glen) of Lakeville, Dean Vomhof (Cheri) of Gillette, WY, Marion Vomhof (Dan) of La Mesa, CA, Muriel Vomhof (Don) of West St and Grace Adams of Eagan; her children-in-law, Linda Vomhof, Greta Vomhof and Jim Brown; and her sister-in-law Laurel Vomhof Graham. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (222 6th Ave SW, Rochester, MN 55902). A burial will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 5:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery (241 S Line St, Wykoff, MN 55990).
Memorial contributions may be directed to St. John's Lutheran School in Wykoff or Trinity Lutheran Church.
