He was predeceased by : his parents, Michael C. Moriarty and Mary Agnes Connolly; his wife Betty Ann Fagan; and his son Stephen. He is survived by : his daughters, Lynn Lawrence (Bill), Mary Burian (Kevin) and Elizabeth Moriarty (Pat Winecke); his grandchildren, Caitlin Mealor (Brandon), Ethan Blomquist (Rachelle Emerling), Amanda Barbur (Zach), Meghan Burian, Matthew Burian, Emma Blomquist (Daniel Cortez), Sarah Lawrence and Bill Lawrence Jr.; his great grandchildren, Breana, Cassidy Mealor, Liam Francis and Zoe Barbur; and his children-in-law, Natalie Franklin and Ken Blomquist. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to Catholic Charities Twin Cities, Caring and Sharing Hands or Alzheimer's Association.
