He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred John and Dolores Josephine Henke; his wife Marianne; his son Wilfred; his brother Robert Henke; and his granddaughter Nicole.

He is survived by: his children, Sue Kemnic (Phillip), James Henke (Dawn), Paul Henke (Lori), Michelle Brant (Rick) and Tricia Ferrer (Brandon); his grandchildren, Katrina Villella (Dan), Angela Saari (Pete), Tamara Henke, Jacquelyn Wittkop (Jake), Allison, Thomas Henke, Danielle Kemnic, Rachel, Jack Hanson, Tony (Katie) and Nathan Brant (Molly); and his close friend Paula Ball. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.

Now his suffering is over. I m very sorry that I can't attend Jim's funeral. I am in SD watching my two little granddaughters while their mom is away at Army duty. There is no way I can attend.
