She was predeceased by : her parents, Marvin and Catherine. She is survived by : her siblings, Robert Bolland (Carla), Elizabeth "Betty" Bolland and Patty Bolland; her nieces, Rachel Bolland and Angela Wilson (Tim); and her great-nephew Arthur Wilson. She is also survived by many cousins, relatives, and friends.

Thelma Satterlund lit a candle

“I have known Mary for close to 40 years. She was originally my mentor, then remained my friend even after the AT&T group "went their own ways". Every year, my Christmas tree is decorated with little ornaments that Mary crocheted or cross-stitched over the years. I continued to receive them from her each year until recently. Catching up with our annual Christmas letters to each other was heart-warming for me and I will truly miss her.”
