She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Perron and Clara Perron; her husband Earl Strese; her siblings, Gilbert, Julia, Odell, LeRoy and Loretta; her grandsons, Jesse Strese and Dion Anderson; her great grandchild Hadley Peterson; her friend Floyd Berg; and her pet Beau.

She is survived by : her children, Sharon Anderson (Merlin), Sandy Basso (Ken), Chuck Strese (Karen), Suzy Baars (Gary), Mike Strese (Colleen), Larry Strese (Barb), Terry Strese (Dana) and Greg Strese (Anita); her grandchildren, Anita Anderson, Shelly Stillson (Kirt), Randy Lane (Jenny), Candy Kim, Rick Strese, Kurt Strese, Jenny Jones (Jeff), Dan Baars (Sara), Kelly Shay (Kyle), Becky Otto (Josh), Sammy Peterson (Matt), Jake Strese (Cassie), Amanda Walker (Kelly), Rachel Gilbertson (Aaron), Megan Marschke (Jordan), Heather Strese, James Strese, Willy Strese and Jaci Strese; her great grandchildren, Dylan Anderson, Jagar Stillson, Jade Stillson, Taylor Anderson, Nic Lane, Kate Lane, Connor Kim, Justin Kim, Earl Strese, Eric Strese, Jonah Strese, Justin Strese, Mallorie Ingersoll, Sailor Brown, Brooke Jones, Brandon Jones, Hunter Baars, Walker Baars, Ryder Baars, Cole Strese, Jarrett Gangloff, Weston Gangloff, Amber Shay, David Shay, Wyatt Strese, Evelyn Strese, Keegan Walker, Gavin Walker, Callie Gilbertson, Leah Gilbertson, Gus Otto, Louie Otto, Malia Peterson, Prior Peterson and Case Peterson; and her great great grandchildren, Sylas, Layla, Everett, Jesse, Harrison and Haden.

These Wednesday night parties continued after she moved into White Pines, until the pandemic robbed her of visitors.

Margaret Perron wrote a sympathy message

“To all of the family, Aunt Muriel was one of the best of women. A peice of my heart died when I heard she had passed. I can never forget her beautiful smile and her loving, caring ways. We will all know the loss felt by her absence and I can only say my heart goes out to her children and their offspring (2 many for me to remember). A wonderful person, mother, grandmother (a couple of greats), sister, aunt, cousin, friend and much more has been given her wings. May you rest in peace. I love you M”
