He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Virgil Schaaf and Gladys Schaaf (Solem); his wife Lois Wateland; and his children, Jeffery, Roxanne, Patti, Michelle and Jennifer. He was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
