He is survived by: his children, Doug (Sheila), Mark (Mary Ellen), Maurice (Kathy) and Cathy Johnson (Bill); his grandchildren, Karl (Rachel), Benjamin Ulfers, Ashley Middendorf (Chris), John Ulfers (Marissa), Katee and Becca Handler (Alex); and his great grandchildren, Ellerie, Adelyn, Delainey, Rylee, Harvey, Tatum, Ella and Finn.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to True Friends Camp Courage and Camp Friendship.
