Teresa Jean Schwartz Obituary

We bid farewell to Teresa Jean Schwartz (Eagan, Minnesota), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 20, 2025 at the age of 63. Teresa Jean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her father Tom Rykhus. She is survived by: her mother Betty Rykhus; her husband Tom Schwartz; her children, Mitchell Sorensen (Maddie Mulcahy) and Nicole Sorensen (Jay Johnson); her stepchildren, Daniel, Heather and Katie Schwartz; her siblings, Jan Willaert (Jeff), Tim Rykhus (Tracy Heirigs), Steve Rykhus (Amy) and David Rykhus; and her stepgrandchildren, Gunnar, Tanner, Caden and Andrew. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Church of Saint John Neumann (4030 Pilot Knob Rd, Eagan, MN 55122). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Loose Moose. A burial was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Woodland Hills Funeral Home (1605 Woodland Ave, Mankato, MN 56001).

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Special Olympics.
