He was predeceased by: his parents, George Eykyn and Irene Eykyn (Amann); and his brother Percy. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Jenniges; his children, Joe (Kim) and Jill; his granddaughters, Karie (Kevin), Jordyn, Rylee, Reese, Bella and Bryn; and his siblings, Lucille (Ernie), Jerry (Judy) and Joan (David). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In his memory, donations may be made to the Diabetes Foundation (diabetes.org) or the American Heart Association (heart.org).
