He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Franklin Hinzmann and Lila Hinzmann (Hess); his grandchildren, Josie Schrouder and Stefan Johnson; his siblings, Jim Hinzmann, Jerry Hinzmann and Kathy Hinzmann Alexander; and his parents-in-law, Francis and Silvia Brousseau.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Marie Brousseau of Joseph's Catholic Church; his children, Lori Johnson of Eagle Bend, Monte Hinzmann of Eagle Bend, Kari Hinzmann of Eagle Bend and Robin Hinzmann of Eagle Bend; his grandchildren, Katie Johnson, Nicole McNeal (Nate), Morgan Hinzmann and Samantha Hinzmann; and his brothers, Dennis Hinzmann (Pat), Harlan Hinzmann (Shirley) and Keith Hinzmann (Colleen).
