With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger A. Sorenson of Eagle Bend, Minnesota, who passed away on October 29, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Roger has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Sorenson and Agnes Sorenson (Goldstein); and his brother Art. He is survived by: his daughter Joy Elizabeth of Alexandria; his wife Wendy Sorenson of Rose City; his daughter Emily Ritter (Josh) of Sauk Centre; his grandchildren, Tenleigh and Lennox Ritter; and his pet Peaches. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lind Family Funeral Home (1623 10th Ave E, Alexandria, MN 56308). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at the Fryksande Lutheran Cemetery (1349 Fryksande Rd NW, Evansville, MN 56326).
