He was predeceased by : his parents, Alfred Jr. Bakken and Leona Bakken (Hanson); his siblings, Bruce Bakken and Sandy Bakken; and his son-in-law Manny Hernandez.
He is survived by : his wife Janice Deschene; his children, Jamey Bakken of Minneapolis, MN, Jesse Bakken (Brenda), Crystal Gallant (Adam) of Grand Forks, ND and Matthew Bakken (Mallory); his grandchildren, Koehn, Mason, Mya, Callee, Ethan and Owen; his siblings, Linda Coons, Glenn Bakken (Darla), Mike Bakken (Rae) and Keith Bakken (Mary); and his sister-in-law Linda Bakken. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
