He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer McFarland and Lina McFarland (Mischke); and his siblings, Dick McFarland (Ethel), Alice Beise (Russel), Marion Stencel, Betty Alshlager (LaVerne) and Bob McFarland (Sedonna).
He is survived by: his sister Margaret Riemann of Albert Lea. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nasinec Funeral Home (789 Business Park Drive, Wells, MN 56097). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be given to the Arbor Day Foundation, a charity of your choice or plant a tree in Jim's honor.
